Without Joan’s knack for starting organizations – among others: Trillium Asset Management, the US Social Investment Forum and CERES — and nurturing people interested in socially responsible investing, shareholder advocacy and environmental activism, we would live in a very different, much poorer world. I owe her more than I can catalogue.
